I am a private person by choice, I believe in having a couple really good friends rather than a bunch of acquaintances. If you happened to see me on the street, I would seem a distant, but I actually am a very friendly person, you just have to talk to me.
I am socially awkward in large groups, and I tend not to say anything unless spoken to. That has probably something to with the fact that I don't say anything unless I have something that needs to be said, and because of that I come off as shy. I just don't feel the need to unnecessarily talk all the time. I've found that when I do talk though, people listen.
I play guitar. My uncle recently gave me a California made Fender Stratocaster, 2002 Sunburst. I tend to play blues and early rock, starting to pick up some jazz as well.

Well my name is Melanie & I'm a twin! Calm down boys! We don't like to share! I am twenty-nine years old. I may have not done any of the things I was expected to do by now, but I am on my way to doing them. I quit two of my three jobs and I dropped the loser I called my boyfriend. I finally realized if I would just go back to school and finish my degree; I could work one job that would pay the same as the three jobs I had been working. I completed a CNA/HHA program in Madera and I passed the state board test on Jan 24, 2009. I have to say, it wasn't what I expected! I sat down with a wonderful counselor, and we mapped out my way to graduation. If all goes well, I can graduate next Dec with an AS in Biological Science and apply for the nursing program. I know the nursing program is very difficult to get into so, if I don't get into the nursing program right after I graduate, I'm going to enroll in an LVN program. Iâ??ve always wanted to be a veterinarian, but realistically, Iâ??m too old to try anymore. So, I can be a nurse. Who wouldnâ??t want a job where you can go to work in your pjs? I will finish college. I will be successful, and I will be happy. On top of going to school, I also work at Starbucks! It may not be the best job, but it pays the bills.

A concept worth considering:

I've noticed a lot of the "match questions" begin with "Would you consider", or something substantially similar. For example, "Would you consider having a three-some with a cat of the opposite gender and an alien being whose gender you cannot determine?" Now, I would take that scenario under consideration - come on, sex with an alien! That's gonna be one heck of a story at the next family gathering. Anyway, after careful consideration, I would ultimately decide that I probably would not engage in such an activity. In my mind, there is a HUGE difference between considering something and doing something. So, if you question or are concerned about the answers to some of my "match questions" and wonder what creepy rock I crawled out from under, would you consider this paragraph?

I love art. I love to draw, paint, just finished getting an AA degree in 2 dimensional art, and am now going to Fresno State and majoring in Studio Arts (specifically painting and drawing). Besides art, I spend my time with friends, watching baseball and soccer, listening to music, and reading. I'm intelligent, and have a good sense of humor.

Oh, I'm easily amused. I get along with just about anyone. I'm laid back and just like to be out and about amongst people.

My interests go across the map, literally. I love to travel, and learn as much as I can. Either from books, or life experiences. Life experiences always make for better stories though. I'll tell you some one day when you're old enough ;) Show me something new or give me an adventure, and you are my favorite person for the minute. I'm also into the more creative things: music, art, photography, movies, etc. Oh, and if you can't take or make a joke, you're probably not for me. I can be dry and sarcastic, however it's always in good fun. But if you really want to get to know anyone, then you need to talk to them to find out.

I am single, looking for my better half. It is a lot more fun with someone to share your life with.

Just looking in hopes of finding someone compatible to share some time with for now. Ultimately I'm hoping still to find the man who is just right for me. I want the real deal when you just know you can trust and believe in each other without any doubt. I want to travel and see new places, I love the beach. I enjoy almost all types of music. It's great to meet new friends but I don't have patience for people who are just out to play games.
